Global Entry with a Dog?

I am currently in Tahiti (French Polynesia), and will be returning from PPT to LAX in early September, bringing home a rescued dog from here. I have all the information regarding the regulations for importation of animals into the USA, so that is not my concern.

My question concerns whether I can use my Global Entry to go through LAX immigration/customs on arrival. The dog will be shipped as cargo, so will not be physically present with me at the Global Entry kiosk or baggage claim; she will be picked up at a separate location off the airport grounds. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to do this? Do I declare the dog at the GE kiosk? Will this prevent Global Entry access?

I have limited internet access here, so have not been able to do the research I would like about this question, so hoped the community here could assist -- thanks for any help!
