You've probably already gleaned this from the links above.... its all the 'old next generation club world' - just new upholstery or still old and worn (half the LH 767s have been re-upholstered). The 747 CW is a much more spacious and private seat IMO, esp because the arm rests go down giving you much more shoulder room for sleep...but then i really like the 767 middle pair of seats if traveling with someone. Both have easy aisle access and its a nice quiet (as quiet as a 767 can be) small cabin, plus a good crew/pax ratio. Window seats on the 767 are...cosy, as the fuselage is right at the arm rest, whereas on 747 upperdeck, there are wide cubbyholes for putting everything in so lots of elbow space to the window. For the sake of what 8 hours to calgary, take the 767 rather than going through YVR unless you have a pressing wish to fly upper deck CW to YVR, which really is a superb cabin to fly in.
Its a 767 from GCM-NAS-LHR. That is 12 hours and its perfectly comfortable. Oh and if you are a bit evil and take the rear facing centre seats or rear facing aisle seats on the left (heading towards the cockpit), you can lean out and peer down right through to economy on take off and leer at the folks in Y/W. (run..hide...)
