Still no word on when the renovations are going to start at the Ren LHR.

They seem to be booking a lot of conferences in the hotel, so hopefully, that might pay for the updates in the rooms.

Lounge still closed on the weekends for evening nibbles & wine, although they told me that they were serving breakfast in the lounge on Saturday morning (I asked for coupons for the restaurant).

Lounge was opened during the day until about 10:00 pm for soft drinks and they had leftover muffins in the afternoon and biscuits.
