I've never done it, but....

.... on the basis that you have a valid F ticket for that day, and there is no time restriction on the amount of time you spend in the CCR, I would give it a go. The worst they can say is no (which may only happen when the machine bleeps and says you are in the wrong terminal ).

I have tried getting in the day before an F flight when I going out to (say) AMS to start my ex-EU run. That, understandably, didn't work!
