We know that the statistics for delayed luggage are not good in Europe.
Going to a business meeting with the suit in checked luggage is calling for periodic trouble. Hence, I either take a garment bag or rather dress in a suit, pack a couple of shirts in my hand luggage and a set of old airline pajamas.For any longhaul, even daytime, I always change into pajamas at time of boarding.
Never fun to have delayed luggage, but at least I keep the essentials at hand.
