This may not be news to some but I'm currently sitting in the KE lounge in ICN courtesy of HA! We all know HA's own lounges are abysmal and sad excuses, but apparently and to my surprise today they are providing access to Premiere Club members (most likely gold, plat, and C class as well) to the KE lounge in ICN!
I'm flying on HA 460 in a couple hours and was planning on trying to just get into one of the *A carriers' lounges with my UA club membership but then as I walked by the KE lounge noticed HA on the partners list. Walked in and asked the CSR is I had access as a HA Premiere Club member and she said yep! Anybody know if HA is providing similar partner lounge access in Japan, South Pacific, etc.?
Update: Just checked the HA website and looks like I may have slipped past the actual rule book here. According to this page:
http://www.hawaiianairlines.com/hawa...ip-levels.aspx
only gold and plat members get partner lounge access on international routes and must request it from a CSR at check in. I'm not gold or plat and didn't ask at the counter so looks like I got either a very kind KE CSR or she simply didn't know the exact specifics.
