There is no airside bus between T5 and T2....the landside bus can actually take a little while depending on traffic, which at LAX can be a nightmare.
If you will not have too much luggage and you can easily carry/pull it I would suggest simply walking from T5 to T2.
Use this link to carefully study the layout of LAX and even use google maps with satellite view....

If you do not try to cut through the parking garages (and risk getting lost) you can easily walk from T5 to T2 in under 10 minutes. Surprisingly (for LA) there are good sidewalks and crosswalks with lights between T5 and T2... HOWEVER only do this if you carefully study the map and know ahead of time where you are going....
If you try to "wing it" you can easily get detoured and waste time....
