It was an H fare, costing $646 all in before the LMU.

When I travel for business I normally fly J to the west coast, but there were no executive class lowest fares available, only exec flexible which cost something like $3,500 (!) for the one leg. That's a bit steep for my expense account, but I consider the $1158 for the flex ticket plus LMU to be reasonable.

FYI, I checked out row 27, and it was indeed as bakersdozen described. It has a full size exit door with only a tiny porthole window that you can only see out of if you strain forward. But the seat has tons of legroom, more than in executive class.
