BA has arrivals well into the evening at LHR and on countless occasions I have has to forgo this Executive Club benefit.

For those who don't understand the role of the "arrivals lounge" it is this:
It is to allow passengers a place to eat, shower and relax before you are able to check in to your hotel. Hotel check in starts around 3pm. Hence the 2pm closure of the arrivals lounge giving you enough time to make your way to your hotel.
