Wait never mind, I just realized, most AC flights are cheaper if you start in the US than from Canada. So I'm just paying a bit more than UA - but for Trans Atlantic AC is usually the cheapest, though in Tango, Flex is slightly more. That is all.
I was looking at some flights to Europe a few months ago, and AC Flex was consistently the cheapest from SFO.
