Sure, but forum advice has generally been unsympathetic to potential claimants, sometimes outright discouraging, unfocussed and often dismissive.
Far better in the short-term is to get Lufthansa to spell out the way in which adverse weather impacted on provision of the flights he/she held tickets for. By all means, report back to the forum with the full information, but professional advice can be free and is probably going to be more useful.
