It's true. I was in Shanghai and went to a McDonalds and it was a white tablecloth sit down restaurant. Pretty cool experience.
None of the KFC or McD's were like that when I was in Shanghai both times this year. Nor any other part of China I was in. Granted, I didn't actually go in, but I did think about it and look a couple of times.
They must have been hiding the tables with linen out of sight from me! The rat.......s!
