When my kids were young and we bought a lot of (non-VR!) stuff at CVS, I was wondering how they made profits on anything. Regularly (and this was before extracare) I would buy stuff like diapers, tylenol etc, already cheaper than the supermarkets, and find out at the register that they were on sale, and/or buy one get one free etc.

And with extracare I am always getting two $10 off $50 purchase couponsetc. I guess the lesson is just how high margin most of the products really are!
