Disappointed I unknowingly switched from UA 777 in F to old LH 744 in F. Oh well, can hope for aircraft swap, other route to open up, or look forward to better service. Thanks again for posting.
You're welcome. There is nothing to be disappointed about. Even in old F, the LH 744 is worlds better than having to fly United. It's still the same great Lufthansa experience. You still have two seats, one for sitting, the other for sleeping. Indeed, IMO old F is in ways better than new F. The seat is more comfortable for sitting, reclining and working. The only issue I have with old First is that the IFE is awful, and the new F bed has a proper mattress and provides an amazing sleep.
