I was in 1A on the first service from LHR to ARN. By having 3 huge windows that seat is fantastic to watch the world go by. For a long haul I'd probably still go for 3A or 3K (which does not have as good a view due to the wing, and loses half a window) but for a shorter service I think 1A is great. I'm a regular CW user, and having now flown on BA's A380 and 787 services, I feel the that 787 is better for CW travel, not least because I'm a window gazer, and I am not so fond of large cabins.
