Its not easy to make out, but in my interpretation of the floor plans there also appears to be a dedicated security area at Flight Connections - see the beige/brown areas to the right hand side of the bottom two plans. If so, then lessons will have taken following the opening of T5.
There's also a little entrance nestled off to the side which looks like it might be fast track.
