This undated message has appeared on the RBC website:

"We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with the Convert Points feature in RBC Rewards. Clients are unable to complete points conversions to the WestJet loyalty program. And, RBC representatives are unable to process these requests over the phone.

We are investigating this issue, and are working to resolve the matter as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
