I hope to be at 120K-130K PQM by end of year. Also, for the first time next year I expect to be flying a lot of domestic flights within the US.

I am thinking that it might make sense to switch to the Aegean mileage programme once I get past 100K. As I understand it, I need only crack 20K in year 1 then 15K annually thereafter to get Star Gold status with A3.

It kind of seems too easy to me, however. The only downside I can think of is not getting the 15K-20K credit annually towards UA lifetime status.

Am I missing something on this -- can anyone see flaws in my thinking? Thnks.
