Ok-let me start by saying I have NEVER, EVER had an award stay at ANY SPG property as good as this one!

I was there during high season-in late July. I used SNA's (which messed up, and didn't get deducted), and was given a HUGE ocean-front suite. The only downside was the suite did not have a terrace, while most other rooms did.

This hotel went above and beyond in every way possible.

Check in was smooth.....bellman was excellent.

Parking was valet only, at 23euro/nt. I asked about parking "in front" against the fence and they said no. No big deal...as it was only a few bucks a night.

Room was spotless...and well appointed. 2 TV's (flatscreen) with a HUGE living room.

Breakfast was full buffet free as a platinum gift.

Welcome gift for suite was bottle of EXCELLENT cava champers with cheese, crackers, and cookies for littletykePP40.

"Destinations" group (concierge) was GREAT. Recommending many great places to sightsee. We sent to MontBlanc, Sitges, Reus, Castleton (?), and the Miguel Torres winery. Free tickets were had from the concierge saving us 12e/person.

We had dinner onsite one night. It was very well done...Mediterranean style. Was a little pricey compared to other offerings in town. We did have the BEST sangria every night at the bar outside!

Lots of places to eat out of the hotel on the boardwalk. We tried a few different places and all were fine. The tapas places were great. The first Italian restaurant (Georges???) you walk to was excellent and well priced.

Dinner in Sitges at LaFragata was incredible one night! Although, save yourself the headache and park at the supermercat at the train station and do NOT attempt to drive into the restaurant.

The highlight of the hotel was the managers reception! The GM is the BEST GM I have EVER met! He held a wonderful reception one evening that included free drinks (great cantaloupe vodka drink) and apps. He spent TONS of time talking to my family. They had a painting by a famous Spanish artist that every guest was allowed to paint on, and will hang in the lobby of the hotel.

The staff was superb overall. I saw the asst GM and GM every single day. And every single night. They are the hardest working managers I have ever met. The GM also said they will start a renovation this fall. Refreshing the rooms and common areas slowly.
