+1. I just did this 2 days ago. It worked just fine. My previous reservation is now associated with my Hertz account.
Make sure you are not signed in when you go in to search for your reservation. You will need to add your reservation number and last name. When you do so, and it pulls up your information, go to modify it. It will ask you whether you want to log in or continue as a guest. Now if you log in with your account, the reservation gets linked to your account. Feel free to make a slight change - like dropping/picking up 30 minutes later. It will now send you a confirmation email with your #1 account showing.
Log out and log back in. You will see this reservation in your reservations tab.
Wow this worked for me. It even works retaining an old sale rate. Sweet.
wobbly wingswhen it takes you back to the booking page that is actually part of the booking modification process, and you can see that all your details are read-populated in the fields. It also has a box at the bottom that asks if you want to retain your original price. Just press book, and continue through to "book" your booking again as per
porphyra's post above.
