However... I would offer that there are not unreasonable one-way fares available from Europe. Both Icelandair and Norwegian seem to use one-way pricing construction for most of their routes, so they are always an option. I think Air Berlin and Aer Lingus might do the same, but not certain.
Not that I think the OP will get to Europe, but it might be useful info for some here.
