If you've seen the magnificent superstructure then you will not be surprised to discover the functions of this new terminal are spread over several floor levels. Heathrow Airport recently released floor plans of Terminal 2. There's no annotation, sadly but the colour coding does give an idea of how passengers will flow through the building and what they can expect to encounter along the way.
Those familiar with T5 will instantly identify with the distances to main vertical circulation points (escalators/lifts) and moreover the engineered meander factor. Here's the plans...
