I booked a flight through Delta.com for a trip to Maui. Turns out it is operated by Alaska. However, I'm only Silver on Delta and was just given Platinum on American. I know American Platinum extends benefits pretty well to Alaska. Is it possible for them to recognize my American status?
I would just show the AS rep your AS platinum card at checkin / boarding -- I doubt that they'll prevent you from using the AA PLT benefits.
