I do not doubt that some VS are 1/3 cheaper on some flights but used the flights as an example that it is not always the case
I am EDI-LHR next Thursday my BA flight is considerably cheaper than VS
as is my return

its probably swings and roundabouts but in my experience BA flights have on the whole been slightly cheaper

yes I know some VS flights have been 1/3 cheaper and I am in no way disrespecting the OP comments but just giving my views and experience of pricing on this route by BA and VS
