I feel like I wasted a lot of points because Korean Air can't get their shyt together. So thank you to those who replied. I think it's a good idea to see if I can get in the lounge with 4k points like one had mentioned. Not really sure what to do with the rest of the wasted points.
I doubt I'll fly Korean ever again. I can't ever get a straight answer. Each representative on the phone calculate points differently, have different policies. I know based on calling about 30x in the past 6 months that if you don't like what you hear the first time, just hang up and call again, you will almost always get a different answer.
UR are valuable. I'm not sure if I have the energy to fight them to get back my points. It's worth an email to Chase I guess :/

what was the route you wanted to travel? I am curious to hear why KE is having so much issue giving you the straight answer.
