I think you've reposted something from a serious troll on this Argentine aviation blog. Can the emergency announcements be triggered accidentally? Yes. I don't dispute that might have happened. Is there a procedure written down on what to do if it does play accidentally that the CSD/CSL would have been aware of? Yes. The playing of the announcement also would not have turned the lights to bright automatically. The crew rest scenario though is completely unbelievable. Firstly, this would have been a 777 and there are not enough bunks for the entire crew. An entire Triple crew would not fit up there at once. On top of that, there is a requirement during break times that at least half of the crew are not in the bunks. I also can't imagine anyone sleeping semi nude up there. Enough tales of bed bugs for me to layer myself up when I get up there.
Seems like there's some serious trolling going on on that forum.
