I would agree with this. In these 50-ish sectors, I saw 2 x in-flight upgrades happen. One was a Silver, based on his bagtags. One was a staff member, despite me having no IFE on that flight. I asked the CSD for her rationale for this and was told that the staff member had been upgraded to make sure I could have a WT+ seat with IFE (rather than me having a CW seat with IFE)

I know that on my route the F and CW cabins are rammed with either staff or op-ups but there is hardly any ability this year to UuA. So I'd love to know who gets the upgrades,when they get them (is it done at the check in desk which I never use)how it's determined who gets them, status,fare class or who you know at BA?
