So both AA and UA are running at a loss at JFK when you exclude transcons? I really would like to see a link to any data or news articles supporting that. If it's public info I'm surprised it's not readily available to support your premise. I wasn't aware of that information until you posted it and would like to read more about it. I searched a bit myself and just can't find the reports you refer to.
