Op-up from Tango: how is segment credited for status purposes?

I was flying a segment yesterday on a bargain Tango fare (well, not such a bargain but 30% of the unusually high Flex fare). At boarding time for the short flight on a CRA & I was called to see the GA. The flight was oversold in Y; my boarding pass with seat 14A was swapped for a new boarding pass with seat 3A. Thanks!!

My question is: is the segment credited based on the original ticket purchased (no AQS) or based on a J segment flown (1 AQS)? I qualify on segments, so the +1 would be great. I've searched to find a rule or post on the topic without finding anything yet. Anyone know? Any info appreciated!
