So I need to fly from DFW to TPA. Spirit came in $153 and everyone else was about $295. Even with the bag fees it would still be $100 cheaper. Anyone know how often their fares jump? Could I expect the $153 to stay in place? Is that just the normal fare or do they discount even more? Never looked at them before. Did some research this morning and see seats are cramped, fees for this, and fees for that. If I can save $100 per person though it could be worth it.

I go my answer, there is no reduced seat fee with the club. So I have a new question. Any thoughts by anyone on their member club and usefulness for you would be appreciated.

I get free bags and platinum seat assignments on AA so I need to weight the benefits of Spirit and if the savings is worth it.
