AC doesn't see it that way. Yes it has "sold" the ticket to Aeroplan but only for 90K points (or $900 at 1 cent/point). Not much for a J class ticket to Europe. With the ongoing "divorce" between AC and AE there seems to be less and less a common interest between the two companies.
Adding your SO's number may help - but will only become a factor if there are still J seats available after all the LMUs and eUps have been processed.
