How reliable is ExpertFlyer? I'm trying to purchase return Y tickets, and then use miles to upgrade both sectors to J (or O). ExpertFlyer shows 7 seats available for reward / upgrade on both sectors. Called EK, and they say only return leg is available.

Can I have faith in EF? If this has been asked before, please post a link and sorry for the trouble. Search function on flyertalk is giving me errors.
