+1 I was the told the same thing by the purser on my flight in June. She was rather disappointed but the service that was provided by the FAs was still great.
+1 same here. However, it's not really good PR when FA's start talking about this in "public". Specially in the back of the bus, friendly FA's make a huge difference given the hard product isn't state of the art anymore.
Ever been on a flight where they swapped the A340 with crew-rests for a A330 without? Talk about unhappy FA's then!!
