As reported in other threads, e.g. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/inter...breakfast.html Breakfast has neither been a Platinum Benefit and nor a benefit for Ambassadors or even Royal Ambassador.

It was a decision of the hotel to comp your breakfast or upgrade to club to give you the possibility to enjoy breakfast there. I have been invited to breakfast a couple of time or received a voucher towards the use for breakfast or upgrade to club. But unlike Hilton or Hyatt, where breakfast is a benefit or unlike SPG, where you can chose to have breakfast as Platinum benefit, it was up to the discretion of the hotel at IHG and not a IHG Reward Club / Priority Club Benefit
