I had checked in online and wasn't checking a bag, so went to a kiosk to get my BP and check for any different seats. IIRC, after I swiped my card, it thought for a little while, then kicked out a piece of paper that said:
"Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill your request. Please take the information card to an agent for assistance." Below that, it said "FTL3365:126:Flight Status - FINAL [KRR]"
As instructed, took the card to the TA and got my BP with no issues. Any idea what was going on?
It was too close to departure time, and the flight had been transferred over to gate control. At that point, only the GAs working that particular flight have access. It usually happens in the final hour before departure, though the specific cutoff time can vary by station.
