Correction: 3rd party bookers can also choose a select seat in the front of the plane for $5-10 vs the $20-40 for stretch seating which gets you 36-38" legroom.

According to you Frontier was "significantly cheaper". I'm sure that Frontier was still "significantly cheaper" after the $2 charge for a soda.

Just another correction: Only third-party passengers get charged for a carry-on.
