If I do this, I uninstall right away, but most don't require it. I sell them on eBay for a few dollars and make back my postage, etc. Same with the cables, etc.

For me, as someone that works in a home office, it's an easy way to rack up extra miles for free. I figure the money I make on Ebay pays me for my time and the miles are a nice bonus. I use the rebate cards to pay all those things I'd only earn one mile per dollar on my credit card to pay. Once in awhile I make a nice payday off of the sales too, just depends on the items and how I bundle them.With the 500 mile bonus on the FAR order this week, it makes it even better.
