I happened to be flipping through the business traveler seat plan mag and was surprised that BA seems to have the most F seats of any airline. They seem to install more seats in the same space than any other carrier including the US airlines. How do they "get away" with this given the competition? Or perhaps conversely, why does the competition not install more seats and make more money?

Does BA have more cabin crew for F given that there are more seats than other airlines? I have not noticed a degradation of service in general, although it is certainly not the same as say Cathay F.
