Did a QF JASA to HKG last month. It was on the A330 so I won't enter into the debate of different equipment. But the new food service on QF has CX running a VERY distant second. Plated food (real plates, not Economy rectangular dishes) and no trays are a far more enjoyable way to experience lunch or dinner in J. The new concept of small dishes and large dishes is an improvement too.

Really enjoyed the wine selection too on QF. There was a Grosset Riesling for my HKGMEL flight home, which is an excellent wine. Better than those I've had on CX.
