Avmz cars are also used on several other IC routes operated by DB - apart from the ARkimbz (former InterRegio) bistro cars which are commonly used on IC trains they are the only first class compartment cars that are in use on IC trains (at least as far as I can tell).

If an IC train offers compartments, they will most likely be Avmz cars. However, while they are quite 80's/90's they are really uncomfortable for longer journeys as the headrests are wall-mounted and hardly adjustable and the seating position, especially in reclined position, is everything but ergonomic.
