You can't check bags very early before a flight. I've got there several hours before (travelling with a colleague on an earlier flight) and ended up standing around at the checkins waiting to open.

I can't remember offhand if it's 3 hours before? But there's no (or very inefficient) aircon there, and very few seats.

I would leave your stuff at the hotel and plan to get there as late as reasonably possible. The lounge is OK but gets very crowded. I don't think you should expect to get any reasonable rest there.
