Have a 02:55 flight and will want to spend my last day touring city (not a lay-over) before heading in to DXB. Question is, how soon before my BA flight (international to LHR) can I check my bags and pass through security to go to my lounge for a shower and some rest?
I've never tried to check in so early before a flight (say, 6 hrs, or at 21:00 for a 02:55 flight) and have no idea how early they will accept my check luggage.
I don't want to get to the airport and be stuck hanging around land side waiting to check through.
Any info greatly appreciated.
