The reason I asked is because I see these sites like points.com where people are willing to trade for instance 24000 miles so that is why I was wondering since this is obviously more than the 15000 mile limit. I have 57700 miles for united and I need to get that to 65000 to buy a ticket asap to HKG so I am just searching for my best option since buying miles from United is real expensive and apparently there are no bonus offers for discount miles.
