It's always nice to unplug for a while and enjoy actual reality in favor of the virtual kind our data plans provide. Nevertheless, the convenience of various data-consuming apps is hard to give up. So I'm thinking I may indulge in short bouts of data use even at the US$0.23/MB it'll cost me with my Toggle SIM card.

I'll obviously disable non-wifi sync and go through my apps to make sure everything's set not to use data in the background except with a wifi connection. Any other tips for keeping the cost down?
