Flying GRU-EZE was surprisingly expensive-with TAM, GOL, Aerolineas Argentinas providing service but all charging US$400 or more one-way.
Luckily Qatar and Turkish Airways still fly this route, and TK's fare of $249 OW was the best out there.
I'm Star Gold (TK Elite), actually just from a status match. I usually credit to United account because it's easier and cheaper to use my miles there.
Anyway, does anyone have experience with check-in for TK at GRU? Any information about what time check-in opens, which lounge TK uses, etc.?
Also, I have come to really enjoy TK's catering in Y--it's as good as many airlines in J. But I'm thinking on this short route it might be worth eating a big dinner before my flight.
Any thoughts/experiences? Thanks so much!
