In the portable category I also like the idea of drives that double as access points and that stream media to tablets and such. These also support hardwired interfaces for higher performance.
Look at the Seagate 1 TB Wi-Fi drive, has an internal battery and USB 3. It will give your tablet 1TB of storage.
