the last point noted above is relevant in a way in that a lot of the issues regarding lounge access relate to the fact that the people wishing the rules to be bent are the ones who can't be bothered to either gain status of purchase an F/J ticket. It is this wanting something for nothing culture pervading this country which is holding it back.

This is perhaps why myself and others on this forum are so hell bent on applying the rules and ending the pernicious compensation culture developing on this board.
there is moving on, and there is moving on though isn't there ? Do you really move on, clearly you aren't in this category, but if you turn into a DYKWIA you have regressed as a person for me.

Rule bending means not breaking them, its not linked to a compensation culture in my case, in my opinion.

I ask again if you are hell bent on applying the rules do you do it yourself in every single detail of life, or are you also one who, speeds, doesn't indicate coming off a roundabout, I don't know maybe not tell the whole truth to the taxman, not hand in a pound coin you find on the ground to the police, this is equally the sort of hypocrisy as I see it in rule guardians

you would have to be that man upstairs or the bloke in the Vatican to never break or at least flex a rule.
