You haven't dealt with it at all, other than perhaps in your own mind. Your posts on the matter in my view remain bad mannered and quite unnecessary.



One either is honest and has integrity or one has not. It's not a matter of opinion. My comments weren't about your behaviour towards companies, but about your interactions with other people, lounge agents, other travellers etc.



It's not because other people behave silly and stupid that somehow imitating that makes it any less silly or stupid. Of course people make fools of themselves all the time with a DYKWIA attitude or the sense of entitlement that comes with a piece of plastic: in many cases they will be happily rebuffed and brought to earth again on this forum too.



Of course people lose out when others appropriate something they aren't entitled to. As for the rules: they are what they are, there isn't a personal version of them for each one of us. The business with trying to explore the grey areas in them actually reinforces that observation rather than undoing it.
