I don't think getting in line to buy a laptop is the same type of situation, but I understand your logic, Michilander. "I" think it's a bit rude to crowd the belt.

That's just me... and plenty of others apparently. Not a big deal though; I don't worry about it. I just work with it. I've learned that even though people may give of themselves much of the time, for the most part they are inherently selfish. This is just one more example of that.
In general, we want to get as much as we can get for ourselves, don't we? welfare, disability benifits, tax evasion, workman's compensation, an exit row seat, airline points, manufactured spending... LOL

Crowding the luggage rack is just another example of this. I just think things would run much smoother if people relaxed, stood back and allowed "everyone" to watch for their luggage instead of just thinking of themselves. Not a big deal though.
