twisting the facts is how the ordinary member of public often sees it. that's a separate discussion we were having about perceptions, and can be quite different from what the facts actually are.
someone was trying to make the point that there is public concern, and that the public want to hold companies accountable. that's not necessarily going to happen when they $150 in their mind... or that someone bought half a cabin of $150 seats... or that someone bought 7 of these fares, and would decide on their fancy which ones they rather might like to use as it suits them. unfortunately, writing the PR campaign against these fares would be one of the easiest things to do.
The tickets were NOT $150 each-more like $600-800 after taxes + YQ.
Besides, who says that there can't be a 'buy Y, get J/F' like some other periodic promotions offered by airlines?
